Nature blended with human anatomy

MicheleParliament is a self-taught acrylic and oil painter, but she is also very creative when it comes to her digital collages. She describes herself as a “school drop-out” although her work clearly shows that not everything can be learned  at school.

Like many people she loves the human body and nature - the same love but a different expression. Her illustrations of different parts of the human body, combined with birds and flowers, provide a different view on life within human bodiess and their connection with nature.

“Mother”, the torso of a skeleton with leaves, flowers and a ribbon is the name of one of her digital collages on giclee prints.  Michele does not place the flowers on top of bones, but actually blends them with the bones.
