Build your own torso

Have you ever wanted to build your own torso with removable organs? Horst Kiechle started his project in 2011. It took him 3 months to finish his first version of the torso, and almost 4 times as long to perfect his templates. After posting pictures on the internet, he received many requests from people to share his templates.

The torso is completely made out of paper. Each template has its own unique design with instructions how to fold the paper. All templates made for his paper torso are life size. The heart, lungs, liver, pancreas, kidneys, spleen, stomach, bladder and intestines all fit inside the torso.

His latest template is a heart which consists of over a 100 different parts and different layers., introducing a new system to guarantee precision and strength, with the ability to scale the heart to the desired size.
