Sculptures from chains by Seo Young-Deok

Seo Young-Deok, born in Korea, graduated from the University in Seoul in 2009. Since then he has had several group and solo exhibitions. He likes to explore the connection between humans and their environment. He does this by constructing intricate sculptures from chains.

Each tiny handmade twist is an important part of the details he creates in his sculptures.

When asked why he uses chain Seo states:  “A chain is an object that has dots and plains in the structure, so I get the results that I want.”
