Human figures emerging from the walls, by Matteo Pugliese

Matteo Pugliese, a contemporary artist from Milan, has created a series of giant larger than life bronze sculptures. This fantastic art series is known as “Extra Moenia”, which means "Out of the city walls".

Each one of the sculptures has a name to explain what it depicts, but on the other hand, his creations are very subtle and authentic at the same time.

His art works are permanently put on show in galleries in Italy and other major cities throughout the world such as New York, Rome, Hong Kong, London, Antwerp and Lugano.

Also, some of the most important Italian and international art fairs such as the Hong Kong Art Fair (Hong Kong), ArtFirst (Bologna), Arco (Madrid), and Fiac (Paris) have shown and acknowledged his artwork.
