Imaging and treatment of chronic achilles tendinopathy

Achilles tendon abnormalities can be depicted with MSK ultrasound in patients with chronic midportion achilles tendinopathy. These abonormalities however, are not associated with pain and they cannot predict progression of symptoms.

Find out more interesting information about achilles tendinopathy imaging and treatment by watching this video.

This lecture was presented by Robert-Jan de Vos, MD. PhD. [Sports physician and post-doc researcher at Erasmus University Medical Centre, Rotterdam, The Netherlands] during the International Conference of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound in Amsterdam on March 28th, 2015.
